Founded in 2009, Calcutta Ink has been providing a platform for artists from all over India. We started at a time, where there were not many options in Calcutta for a tattoo. Established in 2007 as a passion project by Sid and two fellow artists, Calcutta Ink Tattoo Studio emerged in a modest 60 square foot space pulsating with creativity and ambition. Nestled in Park Circus, Calcutta, this compact yet vibrant enclave served as a nurturing ground for artists to refine their craft. Although the original artists have moved on, their contributions remain woven into the very fabric of Calcutta Ink's identity, having played an indispensable role in its inception. Over the years, the studio has blossomed into a thriving hub attracting talent from across Calcutta and beyond, now situated in Golpark, adjacent to Anjali Jewelers. As the team has expanded from its humble beginnings of three to a robust eight-member ensemble, Sid's vision for the studio and its collaborators continues to evolve and flourish. Fueled by an unwavering commitment to growth and innovation, Calcutta Ink exudes a dynamic energy within the local business community, offering clients not just a service, but a sense of belonging and understanding. More than a mere tattoo studio, it epitomizes an immersive and enriching experience.
